CHRISTMAS PANDORO

Ingredients

one Pandoro, half a litre of milk, one lemon peel, 3 egg yolks, 70gr of flour, 160gr of sugar.

Preparation

Directions:mix the egg yolks, sugar, flour and a spoonful of cold milk,make a smooth cream. Heat the milk, don’t make it boil, put off the heat, put the lemon peel into the milk and leave it for some minutes. Then take off the peel and add the milk to the smooth cream,put on the heat again and let it thicken. Slice the Pandoro (cut horizontal slices), then put a layer of cream on the base, a slice on it,another layer of cream,a slice and go on like this in order to form a Christmas tree(the top must finish with a slice). Sprinkle with icing sugar.

Preparation time: Ready in 35 minutes
